26 Random Acts of Disney Kindness

December was a really crazy time for me.  My Dad passed away, my boss retired, I did 90% of my Christmas shopping in one day, had a grandbaby with pink eye, and me with a upper respiratory infection and a "little" get the idea.  Like the rest of the country, I was devastated when I heard the news of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  That's when I decided that I needed to do something - 26 Random Acts of Disney Kindness to honor the victims of Sandy Hook, my Dad and Walt Disney.

I first wrote about my decision to perform 26 Random Acts of Disney Kindness in my December column at the WDW Fan Zone, you can find that article here.  Thinking about it now, I guess I should make it 28, adding one for my Dad and one for Walt.  I want to challenge all of you to join me in the challenge, your Disney Acts of Kindness don't have to be elaborate or expensive.  For example, you could send a Disney mug with cocoa mix or chicken soup mix to a friend who's feeling under the weather, send a Disney gift card to someone going on vacation, pay for the movie tickets of the person behind you the next time you go to a Disney movie, donate a Disney book to a local library or church.

From the movies to Disney themed parties to visits to the Disney parks, we know the pure joy that Disney can give someone, why not pass that absolute joy on.

Have a Magical Day!!
