Mentoring Mondays - Circle of Inspriation Ideally Disney - Wednesday with Walt

Sometimes you are inspired by a single comment, sometimes by a single post, but I have been inspired by an entire series - Ideally Disney's Wednesday with Walt.

I have contacted Brenda before to let her know just how much I love her series, ask you already know I love learning new things about Walt and Disney history.  In fact her series sparked my interest in Disney history, which lead to Did You Know...  Today I have chosen :"The Person He Was Intended To Be" as part of my Circle of Inspiration.

Here is one of my favorite paragraphs from Brenda's post:
"I think Walt Disney was the one person who really had this idea down. He was optimistic, honest, had integrity, believed in making the impossible possible, was committed to excellence, and had hope for tomorrow. Walt loved his family and he loved his God."
Be sure to check out not only this Wednesday with Walt, but all of these post at Ideally Disney.  It is obvious that Brenda is a true Disney fan, and she does a great job of reminding us what a truly unique and special person Walt Disney was, and how he still influences us today.

Hope you enjoyed this weeks Circle of Inspiration, be sure to stop by Ideally Disney and tell Brenda Hi!, like her on Facebook and follow her on Twitter!!

Have a Magical Day!!
Donna Kay

  1. Thank you so much for your support, Donna Kay. I love writing about Walt. I sure wish I could have met him but one day....

Have a magical week and thank you so much again!

    1. Thanks for inspiring my love of Disney history Brenda!! I wish I could have met him too, I can only imagine the interesting conversation you would have with him. Have a Magical Day!!

  2. Two great people supporting one another, my friends Brenda and Donna! I'm proud to call both of you my friends!

    1. How did I know you would be commenting on this post??? Thanks Mike, very blessed to call you friend!!

    2. I love you too my friend. This might sound really strange but I just finished reading "Beautiful Outlaw" by John Eldredge this weekend. The book really spoke to me. At the end, John Eldredge talks about how Jesus has sent him signs/gifts throughout his life in the form of hearts (rocks, cactus, many things shaped like hearts - which he has collected). This morning, I asked God to please send me a heart. Knowing "my heart" like he does, he sent me what means the most to me -- people. I am all teary-eyed now just typing this message. You have really touched my heart today! Hugs to you both!
