Magical Blogorail Blue - The Ultimate Disney Meal

Welcome to those of you joining me from Disney Babies Blog  and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 4th stop on our Magical Blogorail

Imagine sitting at a perfectly set table with crisp white linens being served by your own personal waiter. Now imagine the table is in your resort room.  That's right - a fabulous steak dinner from ROOM SERVICE.

It was a last minute decision because we had had such a busy day, it was July and we were exhausted.  We were staying at the Yacht Club and you know how fabulous the food from the Yachtsman Steak House is.  When we ordered room service we were expecting the usual knock at the door and they shove a plastic tray at you and have you sign the ticket.  This experience was totally unexpected.

The waiter rolled his cart in and cleared the table in our room.  Next he pulled out a starched white tablecloth and covered the table.  Next he sat each place with silverware and two glasses - one with water and one with the sodas we had ordered - then he even pulled out the chair for me.

The food was beyond delicious, the steaks were perfectly cooked, the salad and potato were fabulous too.  But my favorite part of the entire meal was the dessert - chocolate hazelnut cake.  It was the chef's special dessert and I haven't been able to find it on any menu at Walt Disney World.  It was so good I would go to a restaurant just for the cake!!

Let me tell you, the experience was so satisfying that we actually ate room service again a couple of nights later - and yes I got the chocolate hazelnut cake for dessert again.

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Love our Disney.

    1. You won't be disappointed Melissa - their side dishes are fabulous too. I know you are vegetarian so they do have a butternut squash tortellini on the menu.

  9. You've changed my mind, Donna! I thought that room service wasn't worth it because it's two table service credits for the DDP, but hearing your experience has totally changed that for me! Thanks for sharing!

    1. We had the Silver Magic Your Way package and it was covered with that. But I would not hesitate to use the two credits - it was that good.

  12. The most I have ordered was a pizza to the room at Port Orleans Riverside. Let me tell you the pizza hit the spot on a rainy night when I did not want to go out but your experience sounds much better.
