Disney Party Boards...Peter Pan

You have no idea how excited I am about Peter Pan coming to Blu-ray and DVD February 5th!!  I have created a new Disney Party Board in order  to properly celebrate.

My first piece of advice, rather than have the party goers dress as fairies and pirates ask them to wear pajamas.  Remember the Darling kids were dressed in the jammies throughout the movie, and it's an unexpected twist that they won't be expecting.

Peter Pan Party Board

  1. Big Chief Teepee Cupcakes - Adorable, aren't they!  These ice cream cone and pretzel teepees hide a cupcake underneath, yummy!!
  2. Tiger Lily's Hot Corn Dip - This warm corn and cheese dip is sure to please the pickiest little brave or lost boy.  Be sure to serve it with Tiger Lily's favorite corn chip Frito's Scoops.
  3. Jolly Roger Sandwiches - I knew I had to use these for this party board as soon as I saw them!  You could fill these cute sandwiches with whatever meat you choose, and so simple anyone could make these, it doesn't get better than that.
  4. Michael's Teddy Bear Cookies - You should easily be able to find cute decorated teddy bear cookies at your local bakery or on Etsy, but you could always substitute a bowl of Teddy Grahams - kids love them and they are equally cute.
  5. Peter Pan Banner - I loved this banner by The Spoiled Wall on Etsy!! It includes all the characters from the movie, from Peter to the Darling kids to Hook and the Lost Boys.
  6. Captain Hook Cupcake Toppers - Brilliant! These cupcake toppers are a dead ringer for the Captain's hook. One day I would love to learn how to create things like this with fondant.
  7. Croc & Ship Cookies - "Never smile at a crocodile..." By far the most fabulous Peter Pan sugar cookies I could find on the web.  Allyson Jane did a fabulous job designing these.
  8. Walk the Plank - You can walk the plank just like Wendy! A fun game for both boys and girls, they can play as individuals or teams.
  9. Neverland Hat Display - Peter's hat, Indian headdress, John's top hat, a pirate hat, you could even add Wendy's blue bow to the mix.  An unexpected, yet perfect way to decorate and most of these are handmade paper hats so you guest can choose one as a favor when they head home.
  10. The Perfect Peter Pan Invitation - I LOVE the idea of giving a Peter Pan Little Golden Book along with the invitation.  You could really use any type of invitation, a pirate map or a replica of Big Ben and simply tie it around the book.  Not very convenient if you are going to send them through the mail, but I am all for encouraging kids of all ages to read.
  11. Hook's Crocodile Revenge - Hook's ultimate revenge...eating the Crocodile who ate his hand!! This guys is 1/2 pound of gummy, I don't recommend eating him in one sitting.
  12. Darling Silhouettes - Darling silhouettes of the Darling children, and Tinker Bell, and Peter.  You can use them as shown here in frames or larger as shadows on the wall.  Inexpensive, easy and cute the perfect party combination.
  13. Peter Pan Cake - A gorgeous Peter Pan cake making sure to include several the main characters - Peter Pan, Wendy, Hook, Smee and even the Crocodile.
  14. Neverland Scavenger Hunt - A fun activity for kids, especially if the party is outside.  Some great items to include on the Scavenger Hunt list - compass, an alarm clock, the lantern Hook locked Tinker Bell in, a feather, Smee's hat, Peter Pan's shadow.
  15. Big Chief Tribe Teepee - Aren't these DIY teepee's great? You could set up several of these teepees for the kids to paint and decorate or use them as props for taking photos of the party goers.
  16. Treasure Chest Favor - A cute little treasure chest filled with the best kind of gold coins...chocolate!!
  17. Lost Boys Dinner Table - There are so many things to love here, the tree trunk stools, the tree growing from the center of the table.  Use green tableware on a brown tablecloth to complete the theme.  I would fold the napkins into Peter Pan hats using the instruction in the video below.
  18. Tink's Pixie Dust - I bet that Pixie Sticks are Tinker Bell's favorite treat!  It really doesn't get any easier that these!

Be watching I may just be adding some more fun Peter Pan party ideas very soon!!  Now I am off to the second star to the right and straight on till' morning!

Have a Magical Day!

    1. I think I am more excited about Peter Pan coming out of the vault than I would be about a Princess movie. I am making some things at home this weekend to celebrate. :)
