Magical Blogorail Red - Smells Like Disney!!

Welcome to those of you joining me from My Dreams of Disney and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 3rd stop on our Magical Blogorail. Today's loop is all about Disney smells.

It's amazing how a song or picture can take you back to a place and time, but I believe smells may be even more powerful at bringing back memories, both good and bad. While hear the Stitch's Great Escape ride has some pretty bad smells, I haven't experienced the ride for myself. Fortunately, my smelly memories of Walt Disney World are all good ones.

The first thing that came to mind was the smell of Main Street Bakery, I would love to be there right now having a cookie or cinnamon roll or brownie...yum!!

Then there is the smell of the chlorine from the fountains and water rides, I think the fog on Pirates of the Caribbean has a distinctive smell.

Another smell that can bring me back to Disney is the smell of oranges and pines from Soarin'. In fact I buy everything I can with an orange scent!!

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Colorado Mountain Mom.

Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:

Have a Magical Day!!

  1. Everyone loves that Main Street Bakery. And I think the smell in fog in Pirates of the Carribean is there - can't quite place it though. Actually, there are few attrraction smells there which I know are artificial and do add to the ambiance.
