Mad Hatter Tea Party - Banner Tutorial

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!! Last week was filled with banners, tulle skirts, fabric flowers & pinwheels, baking, and all other things party related.  But now you will all get a peek into our party prep for the Mad Hatter Tea Party in honor of our little Tripp who will be here in August.

The first thing I have to say is Thank God I bought my Silhouette Cameo!!  I used three "Build A Banner" sets (#25735, # 25736, #25738) for the letter background and "Polka Dot Flower Pennant" (#13208) for the divider pennants.  For our Mad Hatter theme I went COLOR CRAZY and mismatched  colors in no particular order.  I used an Elmer's Glue Pen for the first couple of pennants, mistake- used a tape runner for the rest with much better results (same holds true for the letters).  I used all different colored ribbons, again in no particular order, and attached it all together using a turquoise ribbon.  Each pennant was hot glued to the ribbon to ensure stability.

The picture I shared is obviously before it was completed, so be watching for the "Real Party Board" to see it completed.  By the way, I have to change the day I will be posting that board, Friday I am hopping aboard the Magical Blogorail Red!! But I promise it will be soon.

Have a Magical Day!!
