Isn't It Ironic?

ironic

 [ahy-ron-ik]

i·ron·ic

  [ahy-ron-ik]  Show IPA
adjective
1.
containing or exemplifying ironyan ironic novel; an ironicremark.
3.
coincidental; unexpected: It was ironic that I was seated nextto my ex-husband at the dinner.

I think ironic is the best possible word to describe my life today.  I was the biggest wallflower ever at school, now I'm married to the guy who was a football star and uber popular.  I love all things  Disney, but have only vacationed there twice, with no upcoming plans for visiting again.  I love planning parties, but rarely have one.

The biggest irony of all for me today is I love to blog and talk to people through Disney Donna Kay, but in the real world I am pretty much a loner except for my family.  There are really times when I wish I had a huge social network and girlfriends to go shopping with.  It can be lonesome at times, and I see Dakota following in my footsteps.

I wanted to reach out to you today and ask a favor, Dakota will be turning 15 at the end of the month.  I have added a few You Tube videos of him performing, and would love to have one reach 1000 views by his birthday.  He really wants to be a professional musician one day and this would be the best birthday present ever!!

Would you please take a moment to view this video of Dakota singing "Wonderful Tonight" it would mean the world to me and I am sure it would be a giant confidence boost for him.

Thanks so much to all of you who watch the video, it means more to me than you could ever imagine!!

Have a Magical Day!!
Donna Kay

  2. He did a really great job! You should be so proud! I think it's also ironic (to use your word) that you and I both posted videos of our kids signing within just a few hours of each other!
