Magical Blogorail - Minnie Mouse Birthday Celebration

Welcome to those of you joining me from Delightfully Disney and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

All birthday parties are fun, but there is something extra special about a 1st birthday!! What better way to celebrate this momentous occasion than with every little girl's favorite - Minnie Mouse!!  I have put together a few ideas to inspire your decorations.  Enjoy!!

Minnie Mouse Celebration Decorations

  1. Minnie Mouse Cupcake Toppers - These Minnie Mouse toppers are so adorable, and the link has a great tutorial from Two Peas in a Bucket for making them.
  2. Honeycomb Poufs - It's hard to find a party online these days that doesn't have paper globes or lanterns, love the honeycomb look here!!
  3. Paper Lanterns - You can find paper lanterns almost anywhere, I especially love this pink with white polka dot combo - perfect for Minnie!!
  4. Minnie Topiary - The principles of this tutorial from DDK last week can be used to recreate this Minnie topiary.  If you prefer a ribbon topiary, you can use the basics from this tutorial found at  Cupcake Express, just add your Minnie Ears before starting to pin your ribbons.
  5. Cupcake Liners - To keep these cupcake liners pretty and pink, bake your cupcakes using white liners and place them in the pink ones after they have cooled, but before you decorate them.
  6. Polka Dot Cups - These cups are so cute as they are, but if you want to add some pizzaz add these cute medallions!  There are lots of other cute Minnie Mouse printables at Peonies and Poppy Seeds!!
  7. Birthday Banner - I really like this banner, but I especially like the way the party hats are displayed above it on the fireplace mantle.
  8. Paper Straws - I love striped paper straws!! If you want to take them up a notch try adding paper flags like these from Polka Dot Made.
  9. Pink and White Sweets Table - When designing your sweets table, be sure to include a pretty backdrop like this cute pink and white one.  Choose pink and white candy, cookies and cupcakes so they act as decoration as well as yummy food.  Also, place your food at different heights for added interest.
  10. Door Sign - This is a cute but simple sign letting guests know they have arrived at the right location.  You could also recreate the wreath from DDK last week changing the colors to suit Minnie, rather than Mickey.
  11. Table Setting - From the black table cloth to the pink place mats with white plates and black napkins, I think this table setting is perfect for any girl who loves Minnie!!

  5. Oh my these are all adorable! I was confused between Minnie and Hello Kitty but both are fine for a little girls party since they are pinkish. But seeing your helpful Minnie Mouse birthday party ideas , I think I'm gonna suggest this to my friends!
I will be exploring more maybe I could add them to my own compilation. thank you so much!!
