Disney Party Board - Nightmare Before Christmas Party

Are you like me and feeling a little left out because you can't attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party?  Why not have a Nightmare Before Christmas Party to cheer yourself up!! You can just have a family night in or make it a huge bash and invite the neighborhood!  I've combed the web for some great ideas to get you started.  Please share you own ideas, I would love to hear them!

  1. You have to watch the movie to get everyone in the mood.
You can use as much or as little of the suggestions in the party board as you would like, it's totally up to you. Add simple solid tablecloth(choose a color that contrasts with your plates), keep your plates, cups and napkins simple - black, orange, purple or lime green work well with the theme. Pillar candles are a great centerpiece with this theme, they really help set the mood.

I cover my bar with wrapping paper and use it as a dessert/appetizer table, it makes for quick clean up. I also buy the plastic clear serving platters at the local Dollar Tree, they look nice and you don't feel guilty about throwing them out.  You can buy a couple of bowls there too and use them as a pedestal to mix up the heights of your platters.  One more thing, if your having a large party I would suggest a green punch (you can call it Dr. Finklesteins poison punch) instead of the milkshakes.

Maybe a little party will help you get out of the "I can't go to the MNSSHP blues" ...probably not but it would be fun anyway.  Have a Magical Day!!
